Mann set to work with Canadian Gold-Record Producer

Mann is set to record a new single to be released soon on Itunes to promote the deluxe edition of “Ecstasy.” To produce it he will work with Murray Yates, lead singer of Hollywood Records’ band Forty Foot Echo and winner of a Gold record for the song “Brand New Day”, included in the soundtrack of Lindsay Lohan’s Freaky Friday.

“The new song is a rock tune, darker, it sounds like nothing you’ve ever heard before by Mann. It’s refreshing to have a tune like this!”- Mann.

While you wait for this new song, here is the smash hit by Forty Foot Echo.

Mann joins Maroon 5, Elton John, R.E.M. and other musicians for DPMD.

Mann becomes part of the list of artists involved in 2011 Daniel Pearl Music Days joining celebrities like Elton John, R.E.M., Alison Krauss and Maroon 5 to dedicate their shows to humanitarian causes. Mann talked about his enrollment in this project.

“I wanna dedicate my music to all cultures, but mainly to all Latin Americans. I join them in our fight for better living conditions. I was able to spend some time in really undeveloped neighborhoods in Mexico City recently, and people shouldn’t live the way they do. Music is powerful, so let’s use it as medicine for our world.”

Mann’s show in Richmond’s Night Market is the first one of his shows during the “Music Days.”
