Mann set to mentor new talent in Online Music Contest

Alberto Molina, producer of online radio show “The Cyber Academy”  has confirmed today that Mann will be a mentor for the contestants of the second season of this talent search. Mann, who just turned 24, showed his excitement with this new project, set to start at the beginning of 2012.

“I’m delighted to be part of this project! I started my career as a solo artist 5 years ago and I have been working real hard to get to this point. I want to share stories and experiences with fresh talent that really wants to join us in this adventure known as being a musician. Besides I was there last year, so I know what it feels like.”

Mann said his role will be support the 18 contestants selected for this second season of the show.

“I’m not a judge and I’m not gonna tell them how to sing. The winner of this contest gets a single on itunes. My job is to help them find a style and defining who they wanna be as artists. If they want to be Country singers or Rock singers it needs to feel natural for them. Also, this is a radio show, not a television show. You gotta sing to be here.”

The Canadian artist said the auditions for the show will begin in December 2011.
